Data Storage
copycopy stores your clipboard history locally on your device. All data remains on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
No Data Collection
We do not collect, access, or receive any of your data. Your clipboard content, images, and personal information never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to share them.
User-Initiated Sharing
Data only leaves the app when you take an action: copying to the clipboard, using action buttons (call, email, open URL, track package), or using the system share sheet. These actions use standard iOS features and go directly to the destination app — copycopy never intercepts or logs this activity.
Keyboard Extension
The copycopy keyboard requires Full Access to read from the shared App Group container. This permission is necessary to display your saved snippets. Despite the iOS warning, the keyboard does not and cannot transmit data over the network — it only reads from local storage.
Spotlight Search
When enabled, copycopy indexes your snippets for Spotlight search. This index is stored locally by iOS and is not shared with Apple or any third party.
No Analytics or Tracking
copycopy contains no analytics, tracking, advertising, or crash reporting code. We have zero visibility into how you use the app or what you store in it.
In-App Purchases
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or have access to your payment information.
Data Deletion
You have full control over your data. Delete individual items anytime, or clear everything at once. Deleted items move to trash and are permanently erased after 30 days, or immediately when you empty the trash. Uninstalling the app removes all data.
Your Privacy, Simply
Nothing you store in copycopy is ever sent to us or anyone else. The developer cannot see your data. There are no servers, no accounts, no cloud sync outside your control. Your clipboard history is yours alone.
